On May 12, 2026, the Montana World Trade Center (MWTC) hosted the annual World Trade & Investment Day at Montana Technological University in Butte. Governor Greg Gianforte participated as this year’s guest speaker, emphasizing the importance of global trade to Montana’s economy.

MWAC’s Global Gauntlet is a unique fundraising event that combines community engagement with global education. Modeled after the Academic WorldQuest competition, teams of community supporters test their knowledge on global events. The evening includes a no-host bar, gourmet buffet dinner, silent and live auctions, and six rounds of spirited team trivia. Funds raised support MWAC’s ongoing efforts to bring educational and thought-provoking discussions to Montana’s classrooms and communities.
In 2026, events are scheduled in Bozeman on April 10, Whitefish on May 1, and Missoula on October 1, providing opportunities for residents across the state to participate.
